The First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski held the introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel, H.E. Ran Gidor.

The parties discussed the political events in Georgia. Mr. Volski introduced the vision of the Government concerning the hereof processes.

The parties touched upon the bilateral cooperation in education, economy and agriculture. “Georgian-Jewish relations count centuries, which serves the solid foundation for contingent cooperation in various issues. Cooperation between our countries shows the greatest potential not only in tourism but in economy and education. Unfortunately, the recent pandemic-related events have impeded our relations but we have outlined the effective plans and hence, our cooperation has a good perspective”, - G. Volski noted.

The parties at the meeting overviewed the political situation in Israel.
