The First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski held the introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Maaike van Koldam to discuss the political processes in the country, relevant issues and the electoral system.

The parties stressed the Constitutional changes on electoral system and underlined importance of active participation of women in political life.

As Mme. Ambassador noted, she is well familiar with Georgia and is committed to keep the friendly and partnership relations and contribute to the cooperation. She reaffirmed that the Netherlands keeps supporting democratic development of Georgia.
