The meeting of the Speaker, Mr. David Usupashvili with the Committee of Foreign Relations of the Congress of the United Mexican States

The Speaker hosted the Delegation from the United Mexican States Congress. As the parties stated, Georgia and Mexico can exchange experience in many directions.
As the guests noted, Mexico is interested in close relations with Georgia. The Mexican MPs asked about the recent reforms in Georgia, including anti-corruption and tax system reforms. The parties discussed geo-political situation in Caucasus and spoke about the terrorism challenges in the world.
After the meeting, the Deputy-Chair of Foreign Relations Committee, Mr. Zviad Kvachantiradze and the Head of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Congress of Mexico, Ms. Gabriela Koeva signed the Memorandum on Understanding.
Prior to the Mexican Delegation, the Speaker held the meeting with the Ambassador of Mexico to Georgia. The parties discussed the current situation in the region and the world, and the bilateral relations.
