The Vice-Speaker, Zviad Dzidziguri and CMEC Delegation considered the investment potential of Georgia, economic projects and cooperation prospects. As noted, China is interested in investment in Georgia resulting in FTA being under active development.

Zviad Dzidziguri: “China has the constant communication with Georgian Parliament as on the Parliamentary level so on business circles level as well. I think, Free Trade Agreement is very important. Cooperation with China is important as it is on the second place in the world in economic terms. It is noteworthy that only Norway and Switzerland are in such trade regime with China and it is the greatest achievement for Georgia which is the result of economic stability, elimination of criminal, low corruption level and flexible tax policy of the country. I would like to wish more investors and businessmen arriving to Georgia to facilitate to development of the country”.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Partnership Fund, David Saganelidze. The Chinese Delegation visited the Prime Minister, Giorgi Kvirikashvili prior to the visit to the Parliament. CMEC holds trade on Hong Kong stock exchange and is considered as one of the largest investor company in Europe. CMEC investment projects are being held in 150 countries.
