Meeting of Eliso Bolkvadze with Ambassador of Japan

The Chair of the Culture Committee, Eliso Bolkvadze met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia, H.E. Imamura Akira to discuss the prospects for deepening cooperation between the two countries.
"It was a very interesting meeting. Mr. Imamura has been in Georgia for 4 months. We have made plans for further cooperation. The Ambassador wishes to be involved in the process of educational and artistic reforms. It will also help Georgia get a school grant and be able to purchase several instruments. Mr. Ambassador is interested in holding Japanese Culture Days in Georgia on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Georgia. He is a musician himself and has taken to heart the problems of musical upbringing and education of the youth”, - E. Bolkvadze stated.
