The Chair of the Culture Committee, Eliso Bolkvadze, held an online meeting with the Chair of the Culture Committee of the Italian Parliament, Vittoria Casa.

The meeting, which was also attended by the Italian Ambassador to Georgia, Enrico Valvo, discussed the prospects of deepening cooperation between Georgia and Italy in the field of culture.

"We had a very interesting online meeting. We expanded on the problems of arts education. We talked about finding innovative directions in the face of pandemic-induced challenges, as well as opportunities for future development of cultural tourism, updating exchange programs and other important issues. The focus fell on Georgia's participation in Dante's jubilee event", - E. Bolkvadze remarked.
