The Committee discussed the Bill on Higher Education, introduced by the Deputy Education Minister, Ekaterine Dgebuadze.

The Bill ensures the accessibility to higher education for the children with special education needs stipulated under the Law on Occupied Territories. The change will have a positive effect on enthusiasm to engage respective beneficiaries in the academic process.

The Committee discussed the Bill on Higher Education introduced by the Head of the Legal Department of the Interior Ministry, Lana Tsanava. The Bill aims at the recognition of the Diplomas issued to the alumni of the MIA Academy issued by the LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement before the 2007-2008 academic year.

As the Chair, Shalva Papuashvili elucidated, the Bill has been initiated in the preceding Parliament.

The Committee approved the Bill.
