Kakha Kutchava: More NATO in Georgia – it was the main topic of our meeting with the NATO Deputy Secretary General

“More NATO in Georgia – it was the main topic of the meeting at the NATO Deputy Secretary General”, - the Speaker, Kakha Kutchava stated after the meeting.

According to him, the parties touched upon the close cooperation between Georgia and NATO and the uniform plan to facilitate the enhancement of the cooperation.

The Speaker underlined that NATO well acknowledges the importance of the open door policy.

“They thanked us for cooperation in Afghanistan or other formats and they well acknowledge the importance of the open-door policy, which will be one of the key topics of the Summit and the novelties Georgia expects from the Summit. We appeal for the membership, with or without MAP, and this goal shall be achieved as soon as possible”, - the Speaker stated.
