Meeting of Dimitri Tskitishvili with the France-Caucasus Parliamentary Friendship Group Members
The Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Dimitri Tskitishvili and Nino Tsilosani met with the France-Caucasus Parliamentary Friendship Group Members, where they discussed Georgia's EU and NATO aspirations, challenges arising from the Russian occupation, and enhancement of support from international friendship groups.
"Georgia has intact support of France and the international community in general, but we need this support to be straightforward and responsive to all occupation-related cases", - Dimitri Tskitishvili commented.
At the meeting, the sides dwelt on advancement of cooperation and strengthening the relations between the legislative bodies of the two countries. “We also considered the ways for France to further help Georgia's EU and NATO integration and together handle the difficulties related with Russia's occupation of Georgian territories", - the Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee stated.
