The Chair of the Sports and Youth Issues Committee, Mikheil Kavelashvili met with the Georgian rowing athletes, Zaza Nadiradze, Badri Kavelashvili and Tengo Diasamidze to discuss the development and promotion of rowing. The conversation focused on rowing infrastructure projects and the issue of allocating a sports complex at the Tbilisi sea, where rowers will be able to train together.

The athletes appealed to the Chairman of the Committee to petition the Ministry and the City Hall for the allocation of the relevant infrastructure in the premises of the Tbilisi Sea.

The Chairman pledged to help the athletes and noted that after studying the issue with the Ministry and the relevant services of the municipality, it will be revealed what opportunities there are to create the appropriate infrastructure and develop this type of sport and make it even more popular.
