At the initiative of Gocha Enukidze, Racha-Lechkhumi Svaneti Majoritarian MP, a working meeting was held with Mikheil Kavelashvili, Chairman of the Sports and Youth Issues Committee.

The meeting was attended by Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling, Advisor to the President of the Georgian National Olympic Committee, David Gobejishvili, World Champion, Racha-Lechkhumi Kvemo Svaneti Regional Director, Avtandil Maisuradze, and the officials of the Oni Municipality City Hall.

The parties expanded on the reconstruction and rehabilitation works of the boulevard in Oni, within the framework of which the dismantling of the historical wrestling hall in this area, which is depreciated and can no longer meet the standards, is envisaged.

It was decided that meetings will be held with the Ministries of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs and Regional Development and Infrastructure, where the issue of financing the construction of the hall and equipping it with modern standards will be discussed.
