The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze held online meetings with his Czech, Latvian, Polish and Estonian counterparts to introduce the situation in Georgia and the region.

N. Samkharadze dwelt on the Parliamentary Resolution on Foreign Policy concerning the foreign policy priorities of Georgia for four upcoming years.

“Our colleagues expressed unconditional support to our foreign policy priorities”, - he commented to the media.

The parties touched upon the political developments in the country.

“The representatives of our friend countries are interested in ending the political polarization in Georgia and support the constitutional and legal regulation of the processes. They consider that the Parliament is the venue for the discussion of the relevant issues”, - he added.

Providing that the pandemic impeded the travel, the agreement with the Latvian and Polish colleagues was achieved on the joint online meetings of the Foreign Committees.
