The Bureau discussed the plenary agenda and assigned the leading and mandatory Committees for the new legislative initiatives.

The April 27 agenda is supplemented with the resignation of Archil Talakvadze from the position of Speaker and the election of the new Speaker.

“We will start the political debates as soon as the Parliament takes note of the application of Archil Talakvadze on resignation to elect the new Speaker”, - the First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski stated.

On Wednesday, MPs will hear the Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Protection, Ekaterine Tikaradze within the Ministerial Hour and discuss the report by the Health Care and Social Issues Committee, and on Thursday, the Parliament will hear the report by the State Security Service.

As to the organizational issues, MPs discussed the nomination of Kakhaber Kutchava to the position of the Speaker by the Faction “Georgian Dream”.
