The Sitting of the Bureau

The May 13 Plenary Session will commence with political statements.
As the Chairman of the Parliament, H.E. Kakha Kutchava stated, since the plenary session was not convened on Tuesday due to the holidays, pursuant to the Rules of Procedure, today's plenary will open with the political statements after which, the Minister of Defense, Juansher Burchuladze will be heard in the format of Ministerial Hour.
The Bureau defined the Plenary Agenda.
Today, MPs are to discuss the report of the Fact-Finding Commission into Parliamentary Elections 2020 and deliberate the reports on the activities of the committees and permanent delegations for 2020. Bureau members also got acquainted with new legislative initiatives and organizational issues. In particular, two different bills on Amnesty drafted by the parliamentary majority and the opposition were registered at the Bureau session.
As was mentioned, during the forthcoming committee week, MPs will get acquainted with the 3-month review of the implementation of the 2021 state budget.
