Tamar Chugoshvili: As neighboring country, cooperation with Armenian Parliament is important for us
First Vice-Speaker Tamar Chugoshvili, Vice Speaker Giorgi Volski and representatives of parliamentary factions met with the parliamentary delegation of Armenia serving visit to Georgia presided by Lena Nazaryan, Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
“For us, as a neighboring country, it is important to cooperate with the Armenian Parliament. Despite differences in views on certain topics, we have a decent neighborly relationship. We hail the ambitious and positive plans of the new parliament of Armenia for the development of their country”, - Tamar Chugoshvili commented.
Strengthening cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries was stressed at the meeting.
“Armenian colleagues are interested in sharing our experience on a number of issues, and we are likewise motivated for such communications. Today's meeting was a very good start for this cooperation”, - the First Vice Speaker of Parliament noted.
