The Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee approved the bill on the Environmental Assessment Code with the II reading
The Committee at the sitting, presided by the Chair Nino Tsilosani, discussed with the II reading the bill on Environmental Assessment Code, introduced by the First Deputy Chair, Sulkhan Makhtadze.
He reminded the essence of the bill envisaging the possibility of online public considerations in the process of the environmental impact and strategic environmental assessment providing the epidemic situation in the country.
No essential remarks have been expressed regarding the bill and thus, the Committee approved the document initiated by Nino Tsilosani and Sulkhan Makhatadze.
The bill is to be discussed at the nearest plenary session.
