First Deputy Chair of the Sports and Youth Issues Committee, Shota Khabareli met with the administration of 15 schools participating in the pilot project “New School Model”.

“We encounter the challenge related to engagement in sports and hence, we have developed the program mandatory for all schools. The program applies 15 schools in Tbilisi and today, we discuss the main directions of the program”, - he noted.

The representatives of schools expressed their positions and noted that active engagement of the pupils is the milestone of the program.

The program is developed by the National Association of Sports, Fitness and Physical Education in cooperation with the Sports University and Child and Youth Center.
