The Chair of the Interim Fact Finding Commission on Murder of Two Youngsters at Khorava Street on December 1, 2017, Sergi Kapanadze met with NGOs.

“We heard their initial questions and attitude, including concerning this process and publicity of the process. Our position is that we will be at maximal extent open and public as stipulated under the law. Our task is to provide the society with the answers to their questions”, - S. Kapanadze noted.

The Commission will apply all the leverage for the process advancement. “Our task does not imply detention of any person but implies to call every fact with its name. Soon, we will invite the people to the Commission the society has questions towards whom”.

It is the first meeting with NGOs to be followed with other meetings.

“Today, we held the first meeting with NGOs involved in human rights protection and holding vast experience. Providing that high public interest, it is a necessary process. We will hold further interaction by me, the Chair and the Commission members as well”.
