The meeting of Zviad Dzidziguri with the Delegation of Czech Senate

The Vice Speaker, Zviad Dzidziguri met with the Agrarian Committee of Czech Senate headed by the Vice President of the Senate, Milan Štěch.
The meeting was attended by the Head of Georgia-Czech Republic Friendship Group, Nino Goguadze, and Group members Giorgi Khatidze and David Songulashvili.
The parties discussed bilateral relations and Parliamentary cooperation, as well as Georgia-Czech political and economic relations.
The guests asked about further economic growth prospects of Georgia and expressed commitment for extension of trade relations, trade capacity and engagement of investors.
The parties underlined particularly high level of Georgia-Czech cooperation and the role of the Parliaments. “We, similar to Czech Republic, are the Parliamentary Republic and hence, the respective Committees are entitled to render significant assistance to the Government in various directions. These political relations between our Parliaments make materialization possible and facilitate to diversification of the relations between the Governments of the two countries”, - Z. Dzidziguri noted.
The parties agreed on future cooperation.
“The meeting with the Vice President of the Czech Senate, the Chair of the Agrarian Committee and MPs was very interesting. In June, 2019 we schedule the visit to Czech Republic and I believe that such high level visits will facilitate to bilateral relations”, - Z. Dzidziguri stated.
