The official visit of Nino Goguadze and Zviad Dzidziguri to Israel

On July 30, the Vice Speaker, Zviad Dzidziguri and First Deputy Chair of Foreign Relations Committee, Nino Goguadze left for Israel on official visit.
They held the meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel, Tzipi Hotovely. The parties discussed Georgia-Israel friendly relations counting centuries, as well as future cooperation priorities.
Ms. Hotovely underlined preferences of bilateral cooperation in economic, educational, security and agrarian spheres.
“It is important to intensify active relations between our countries and to create more cooperation formats. Application of hi-tech which are priority for our countries is necessary and we need support of the highly developed country like Israel in development of our technologies”, - Z. Dzidziguri stated.
Georgian MPs held the meeting with the representatives of Israeli Company Mobeye being the leader on the world market in so-called smart cameras to prevent traffic accidents. The Company representatives expressed commitment for cooperation and spoke about possibility of internship for Georgian students and young researchers.
The visit to Israel is based on invitation by the Knesset Party LIKUD.
