Kutaisi Single Mandate MP, member of the Healthcare and Social Issues Committee, Zaza Lominadze held an online meeting with the representatives of the Students’ Parliament.
The meeting was initiated by the EU Integration Committee of Zurab Berikashvili’s Administration and was attended by members of various Committees of the same administration.
According to Z. Berikashvili, the Head of one of the Administrations of the Student Parliament, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the young people were very interested in meeting with Zaza Lominadze, who is a doctor by profession and an experienced specialist.
The meeting was mainly held in the interactive mode.
"We talked to young people about various topics. The main interest was still with the Covid infection and the pandemic-induced restrictions. In addition, the students inquired about the legislative work, what the Parliament of Georgia is doing, what the youth are doing for their part and what the cooperation between the youth and the current members of Parliament should be for a better tomorrow and the future of Georgia. I also gave a small presentation to the students - my vision for the present of young people and what they need to do to take an active part in rebuilding the country and be successful in the future. I think such meetings are very important for our young people, as well as for us - parliamentarians and our state in general”, - Z. Lominadze commented after the meeting.
