Chairman of Parliament 23 Jul 2018
Irakli Kobakhidze: I believe, the Ministry of Internal Affairs led by Giorgi Gakharia will significantly succeed in curbing criminal

According to the Speaker, the legislation may be revised in view of prevention of the juvenile crime. Curbing criminal is one of the top priorities, he stated.

The Speaker expressed his belief that the Ministry of Internal Affairs led by Giorgi Gakharia will significantly succeed in curbing criminal.

“The works will go on including in the Parliamentary format. We actively cooperate with the Ministry of Education in this direction. Bulling in schools is one of the acutest problems. Correspondingly, we have to undertake the certain measures and formulate the strategy and Parliament is actively involved in all these processes. First of all, we cooperate with the Ministry of Education. We have to work in all directions. The Interior Ministry undertakes the essential changes led by Giorgi Gakharia and I believe the Ministry of Internal Affairs led by Giorgi Gakharia will significantly succeed in curbing criminal. Curbing criminal is one of the top priorities and the legislation may be revised if necessary”.
