The Chair of the Faction “Georgian Dream”, Mamuka Mdinaradze met with the interns and discussed the domestic and foreign policy of the country, legislative novelties in various directions, achievements and challenges.
He introduced the role and importance of the Parliament.
The interns expressed their positions about the relevant issues.
M. Mdinaradze asked about the goals and expectations of the interns from the internship and recommended them to obtain all necessary skills. Internship in the Parliament gives the opportunity for professional growth. He hoped that the interns will highly contribute in development of the country as the youth resource and energy in this process is vital.
“I am glad to see the youth think better than we thought in their age. They are creative and improved, they think of policy, economy, legal spheres, they see the pros and cons. I believe that the interns bear the greatest potential to soon become the good politicians, managers and professionals. They correctly accept the position and are very creative, which in aggregation allows us to conclude that our youth bears the highest potential”, - he noted.
The Parliament hosts the interns for years. The interns are dispatched to the Departments and Committees and are actively engaged in the Parliamentary activity.
They attend the Committee sittings and study the specification of the Departments, meet with the Heads of the Departments, Chairs of the Committees and the Factions etc.
The internship is ensured by the HR Department.
