The Chair of the Education, Science and Culture Committee, Mariam Jashi, along with the Deputy Chair, Genadi Margvelashvili and MP, Levan Gogichaishvili attended the official opening ceremony of Tbilisi LEPL School N61.

They congratulated the pedagogues and the children with the academic process in renewed building. “The School N61 counting the greatest traditions now enjoys the renewed building. I would like to congratulate every pupil, pedagogue and school administration with this significant fact. The School has the gym and laboratories with modern standards and adapted infrastructure allowing the pedagogues and children having the academic process at maximal extent effective and productive”, - M. Jashi stated.

It is one of the schools put under construction in 2017. “In total, 20 new schools have been constructed countrywide. It is unprecedented event when the Government starts construction of new schools on this scale. Naturally, the system problem remain but renovation of infrastructure and provision of respective environment are our priorities and I am glad to be active when the educational system is the number one strategic priority in the country”, - she noted.
