Meeting of Genadi Margvelashvili with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel
Chairman of the Education, Science and Culture Committee, Genadi Margvelashvili held the introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel, Ran Gidor to review the current Georgian-Israeli bilateral relations and discuss the centuries-old history between the two countries.
The Chairman and the Diplomat touched upon the exchange programs and paid special attention to the existing programs in the field of agriculture. It was noted that Israel is one of the leading countries in the field of agricultural projects and getting acquainted with its experience is interesting and important for Georgian farmers. Dwelling on scientific and educational issues, G. Margvelashvili informed the Ambassador about the Kutaisi International University and noted that the educational institution will hold a presentation in a week, where more information on its future educational activities will be further presented.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on the directions of future cooperation and expressed readiness for active communication.
