The Secretary General, Givi Mikanadze met with the member of the accompanying delegation of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Swiss Confederation, Head of the Parliamentary Services, Philippe Schwab within his official visit to Georgia.

The sides discussed the future prospects of cooperation between the administrations of the two countries' Parliaments and the possibilities of implementing the joint projects.

The SDC is currently elaborating on the program supporting the development of Georgia within 2020-2024. After the definition of program priorities and individual directions, some projects may be implemented in view to support the Georgian Parliament thus enhancing the cooperation between the two countries.

The guest, who is also the President of the ASGP, hailed the activities implemented by the Secretary General of the Georgian Parliament within the Association and wished him success in the future endeavors.

Givi Mikanadze thanked the Swiss colleague for visiting Georgia and expressed his commitment and support for deepening the cooperation between the administrations of the two Parliaments.

The meeting was attended by the Regional Director South Caucasus - Swiss Development Agency Cooperation, Danielle Meuwly Monteleone.
