Nino Tsilosani meeting the representatives of the State Agencies within the Committee Inquiry “Lead Environmental Pollution Assessment”
The Thematic Inquiry Group at the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, headed by Nino Tsilosani held the meeting with the state agencies within the inquiry “Lead Environmental Pollution Assessment”.
According to N. Tsilosani, the Committee holds a significant inquiry on lead pollution.
Today, the Group discusses in the initial documents accumulating all substantiated proposals and positions, and enclosed with the recommendations for complex assessment of the problem and elimination of lead formation factors.
“The lead pollution remains relevant for years and we have already held various activities. The Committee opted to study the situation within the inquiry. This meeting serves for rehearing the initial documents developed in cooperation with the experts in view of further improvement and achievement of our common goal. The Government shall at a maximal extent identify and eliminate the lead formation sources”, - she noted.
