The Working Group at the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee held the meeting to discuss the activity of RMG Group in Bolnisi region.

The attendees heard the information from the representatives of the company about the environmental protection activities.

The representatives of the Environmental Protection and Agrarian Ministry, Group members and the company representatives reconciled their positions on environmental protection.

“We need to know the plans of the company about nature and ecology at the very moment of the new stage of activity. Such meetings serve for cognition, study and submission of the respective information. We need to keep the hand on a pulse being active in the environmental direction”, - the Chair of the Committee, Nino Tsilosani stated.

According to her, the Group intends to hold the meetings on a regular basis to hear the information and inform the parties concerned.

The Group is composed of the members of the Sakdrisi Committee and various civil activists seeing to the fulfillment of the recommendations issued by the Ministry and monitoring the Committee activity in environmental direction.
