The Secretary General of the Parliament, Mr. Givi Mikanadze met with the Members of the Students Parliament to introduce the legislative changes enforced within the Constitution and the new Rules of Procedure.

Mr. Mikanadze stressed importance of the ongoing and scheduled reforms in the Staff and emphasized enhancement of the Research and Training Centers of the Parliament. He touched upon establishment of the Publishing House in the Parliament, international internship of the Staffers, Parliamentary mobile application and distance education portal.

He overviewed the updated internship program and introduced the opportunities the Parliament offers to the interns. He provided the members of the Students Parliament with the detailed information about all the stages of internship and the change to improve knowledge and skills.

He informed the students about the new concept – remove internship, which has almost been finalized and will be presented in February. The remove internship grants the youth opportunity to master the internship program through the online platform.

Mr. Mikanadze answered the questions and wished good luck to the students hoping they will express their interest in the benefits the Parliament offers and will be actively engaged in the Parliamentary activity.
