The meeting of Givi Mikanadze with the Staffers of the NATO Black Sea Basin Member and Aspirant States’ Parliaments

The Parliament of Georgia hosted the Staffers of the Parliaments of NATO Black Sea Basin member and aspirant states – Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine within the 3-day training visit.
The Secretary General of the Parliament, Mr. Givi Mikanadze held the meeting with the guests and introduced the Parliamentary activity, legislative changes, reforming in the Staff related to the achievements on open governance partnership and the novelties inculcated in the Training Center of the Parliament.
“Active engagement of Georgia, as of NATO aspirant state, already on the level of the Secretariat of the Parliament, grants the additional opportunities to us to demonstrate our reforms, capacity and the potential of the Parliament and share them with our partner countries within the region”, - he noted.
The meetings with the guests in view of exchange of experience have been held by the representatives of the structural units of the Parliament.
The guests also visited the Public Service Hall and Emergency Aid Operative Management Center “112” to get cognizant of the activity of the structural units operating within the implementation of the innovative legislation adopted by the Parliament.
The meetings were attended by the staffers from Adjara AR Supreme Council.
