The Vice Speaker, Sergi Kapanadze and the Minority MP, Giorgi Kandelaki held the meeting with the EU External Action Service representatives within the 14th international conference “Georgia’s European Way” in Batumi.

The parties discussed Georgia-EU strategic relations and EU integration prospects for Georgia. The guest touched upon the Constitutional changes, developments in the country and the challenges Georgia encounters.

“We discussed EU integration perspectives for Georgia and stated that we hail Georgia to be more ambitious on EU integration way and we suppose that our strategic relations with EU shall further be enhanced to be finalized with membership. We thoroughly considered the domestic problems in democratic terms, Constitutional changes and Georgia-Russia relations”, - S. Kapanadze stated.
