The meeting of the Parliamentary Delegation in Washington on arrangement of the judicial system of the federal level
The Parliamentary Delegation, headed by the First Vice-Speaker Tamar Chugoshvili, serves the visit to Washington.
Today, the Delegation met with the representatives of the Court Administrative Office to hear the information about arrangement of the federal judicial system; definition of the Office budget by the Congress; relationship with the Congress in development of the legislative norms on judicial organization etc.
Georgian MPs were informed about transparency of the federal courts, as well as accessibility to the documents and information.
The visit is served with support of USAID GGI and PROLoG joint initiative.
The Parliamentary Delegation is composed of MPs Tamar Chugoshvili, Irakli Kovzanadze, Akaki Zoidze, Kakha Kuchava, Anri Okhanashvili, Otar Danelia, Giorgi Kakhiani, Nino Goguadze, Mamuka Mdinaradze, Otar Kakhidze, Tina Bokuchava, as well as the Secretary General Givi Mikanadze and the Deputy, David Gelashvili.
