The meeting of the Vice-Speaker, Kakhaber Kutchava with the Ambassador of Japan

The Vice-Speaker, Kakhaber Kutchava held the meeting with the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Tadaharu Uehara to discuss the bilateral economic cooperation between the countries, the investment environment in Georgia and the increased investments by Japan.
“The Japanese companies express their active interest in the Georgian market and in the export of Georgian products to Japan”, - K. Kutchava noted after the meeting.
The parties dwelt on the experience of Japan in solar and wind energy, and possible cooperation between the countries in this direction.
K. Kutchava congratulated the Ambassador with the election of the new Prime Minister of Japan. The parties touched upon the challenges the country encounters.
“We are grateful to Japan for its support of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia. We discussed the upcoming Parliamentary elections. The Ambassador expressed his expectation about the democratic and free elections and hoped for further and active cooperation of the new convocation with the Parliament of Japan”, - K. Kutchava noted.
