The meeting of Tinatin Bokuchava with the representative of the Federal Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Swiss Confederation

The Faction “National Movement” MP, Tinatin Bokuchava met with the representative of the Federal Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Swiss Confederation, Sebastian Coquoz.

The parties discussed Georgia-Russia relations, Parliamentary Elections 2020 and ongoing processes in Georgia.

“Switzerland is a very important partner for Georgia and it was Swiss moderators engaged in negotiations for accession of Russia to the World Trade Organization. Switzerland is also a very important partner in Geneva Talks. Other than Georgia-Russia relations, we touched upon the elections and namely the problems Georgia encountered in Presidential Elections 2018 and the expected challenges for Parliamentary Elections 2020. We discussed the bribing threats and touched upon politicization of the electoral administration, attacks in media and attack of the Government on Rustavi2, possible threats for Anaklia project we envision today, including interrogations of Khazaradze and Japaridze. We discussed the judiciary and the challenges in the Court. We informed our international partners about all these important issues”, - T. Bokuchava noted.
