Meeting of Mamuka Mdinaradze with New Ambassador of Israel, Ran Gidor

The Vice-Speaker, Mamuka Mdinaradze held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel, H.E. Ran Gidor to discuss the contingent cooperation directions between the two countries.
As per, M. Mdinaradze, the Ambassador was interested in the pre-election environment in Georgia and the March 8 agreement.
"We dwelt on the current political developments and I provided the guest with detailed information as the other side of the agreement speculates very badly on certain issues”, - M. Mdinaradze stated.
According to him, the meeting focused on the cooperation in the field of tourism.
"Due to the new Coronavirus, there may be some interruptions in the entry of tourists from Israel to our country, but they have such good management that I think they will overcome this problem soon", - the Vice-Speaker added.
According to M. Mdinaradze, a very positive meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel, where the parties exchanged information on important issues.
"Mr. Ran Gidor is a great friend of Georgia. This is not the first time he has visited Georgia on a diplomatic mission. In the late 1990s, Mr. Ran Gidor served as Israel's Deputy Ambassador and Consul in Georgia. He is well acquainted with our country, knows about our culture and traditions, and supports our EU and NATO aspirations. I reaffirm my great respect for him and for Israel”, - Mamuka Mdinaradze remarked.
