Meeting of Members of Parliamentary Majority with the NATO PA President

Members of the Parliamentary Majority held meeting with the NATO PA President, Madeleine Moon, who is paying a visit to Georgia.
The sides discussed prospects for future cooperation, existing challenges and ongoing reforms in the country.
“Despite internal speculation on foreign issues, Georgia has moved very close to NATO and the prospects we reflected in the Constitution two years ago. This is Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration”, - Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Chair of the Georgian Dream faction reported while commenting on the meeting.
According to him, everyone agrees that Georgia is most successful among the rest of the aspirant countries.
"It gives us the courage to say that we are very close to NATO and that NATO's door is open for us. Such meetings leave us very hopeful, and the most positive thing that can be signaled is the prospects of continuing our cooperation and talking about the challenges that we must resolve in order to become a NATO member state", - Mamuka Mdinaradze noted.
The meeting with the NATO PA President was attended by the following MPs: George Volski, Mamuka Mdinaradze, Irakli Sesiashvili, Koba Kobaladze, Giga Bukia, Kakhaber Okriashvili, Giorgi Gachechiladze, Irakli Beraia and Paata Mkheidze.
