The Majority MPs visited the Catholic-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II in the Patriarchate and congratulated with his birthday, 42nd anniversary since enthronement, Christmas and New Year.

The guests included the members of the families of the MPs, including the godchildren of His Holiness.

“We are here to congratulate you on your birthday, 42 years of enthronement, Christmas and New Year, and once again affirm the great love and respect we all have toward you. With us we have brought you a great deal of love of our society”, - the Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski addressed His Holiness.

His Holiness was also congratulated and wished long live by the Vice-Speaker, Ilia Nakashidze, Chair of the Faction "Georgian Dream", Rati Ionatamishvili, Former MP, Karlo Kopaliani, MPs: Endzela Machavariani, Irakli Shiolashvili, Merab Kvaraia, Anri Okhanashvili, Revaz Arveladze, Genadi Margvelashvili.

The Catholic-Patriarch blessed the MPs and wished success in serving for the country and people - “I am glad to meet you. Try not to be divided rather be exemplary for the youth. May the merciful God lead us to deliverance”.
