The informative meetings in the Universities of Western regions of Georgia concerning the Distance Internship Competition called in the Parliament

The Secretary General of the Parliament, Mr. Givi Mikanadze and the Staff of the Training Center held the informative meetings in Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli University, Zugdidi Shota Meskhia University and Batumi Shota Rustaveli University aiming at provision of comprehensive information about the distance internship innovative project in the Parliament.
Mr. Mikanadze introduced the distance internship rules and conditions for the internship-seekers to meet. In the first stage, in the pilot model of the program, the number of the distance interns is limited – four interns from the regions and two from Tbilisi. The first stage covers two directions – human resource management and international relations.
As to participation in the distance internship, the seekers shall meet the criterion as follows:
- To be the Georgian citizen;
- To speak fluent Georgian;
- To hold the Bachelor’s degree from the accredited University or be at least the student of the graduating semester of the Bachelor’s program.
The Secretary General elucidated the rules for competition noting that the shortlisted candidates shall pass the tests in Georgian language and computer skills, crowned with the individual interviews. The applications shall be submitted within January 8-January 20, 2020.
The shortlisting process shall be accomplished as of February 10. The Secretary General has already met with the students and the academic personnel of Gori, Akhaltsikhe and Tbilisi Universities and schedules a similar meeting on January 15 in Telavi.
