The Head of the Georgia-Greece Friendship Group, Gela Samkharauli met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece, H.E. Dimitrios Karabalis.

The parties discussed bilateral relations and Parliamentary links including on the Friendship Group level.

“It is important that cooperation between Georgia and Greece has been recently intensified as evidenced with the visit of the Foreign Affairs Minister of Greece to Georgia and the visit of the President of Georgia to Greece. We now intend to intensify the cooperation in the Parliamentary level. We expect the Greek Parliamentary Delegation on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of independence of Georgia and this meeting is at some extent the pre-condition for the visit. We agreed on future cooperation”, - G. Samkharauli stated.

The parties hoped for enhancement of Parliamentary cooperation between the parties.
