The Secretary General of the Parliament, Givi Mikanadze held the introductory meeting with the Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Korea.

He thanked the guest for the projects undertaken by the Government of Korea in the Parliament.

The parties touched upon the acquisition of the equipment for the Printing House of the Parliament in 2019.

The guest noted that Korea is aspired to keep discussing additional equipment for the Printing House. The parties discussed the new prospects of relations between the Parliamentary Staffs and noted that the formats do already exist of cooperation between the Parliaments and the Staffs.

The Secretary General introduced the new initiative concerning the exchange programs and visits to allow Georgia getting cognizant with the activity and innovative projects of the Parliament of Korea and allowing Korea getting cognizant with the projects and novelties in the Parliament of Georgia like the Civic Engagement Center, Distance Internship Pilot Project etc. The guest expressed his commitment to further cooperation.
