The meeting of Levan Koberidze with the members of Japanese Wine-making Union

The Head of Georgia-Japan Friendship Group, Levan Koberidze and Group members met with the Delegation of Japanese Wine-making Union.
The parties discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in culture, economic and business directions.
According to L. Koberidze, despite the territorial distance between the two countries, Georgia and Japan are similar according to the traditions. “The Georgia-Japan Friendship Group is actively engaged in enhancement of bilateral relations and trade-economic and cultural cooperation. Visit of Japanese wine-makers is important as they in situ will study Georgian wine-making traditions to then introduce to Japanese business circles. It will facilitate to realization of Georgian wine. It is as well important that in spring, 2019 Tokyo will host the International Wine Exhibition on behalf of “Georgia - Cradle of Wine” to facilitate to import of Georgian production”, - he noted.
The meeting was attended by Otar Danelia, Shota Khabareli, David Songulashvili, Giorgi Mosidze and Gela Samkharauli.
