Irine Pruidze: I am glad to see the youth expressing the informed support to the EU integration of Georgia
The First Deputy Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Irine Pruidze met with the members of the EU Integration and the Foreign Relations Committee of the Students’ Parliament and discussed the Committee tasks and objectives.
As she elucidated, the Committee aims to facilitate EU integration of Georgia and to timely and effective implementation of the EUAA and its agenda. She introduced the main directions of the Committee activity and noted that the Committee ensures enhancement of EU direction in the Parliament and holds the educational and analytical activity in view of promotion of EU integration processes.
She also introduced the steps made by the Parliament for enhancement of open governance and named the services recently added to the website to enhance civic engagement.
“The students are very active and asking interesting questions. I am glad to see the youth expressing the informed support to the EU integration of Georgia and I hope that they will serve as the envoys of these issues to the youth”, - I. Pruidze noted.
