Meeting of Members of Georgia-Korea Friendship Group with Chargé D'affaires of Korea

At the introductory meeting, the Friendship Group, presided by Shota Khabareli, and the Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Chung Daesoo discussed the existing relations between Georgia and the Republic of Korea and underlined the importance of deepening the cooperation.
As was noted, the Republic of Korea is implementing several important investment projects in Georgia and the Korean side is committed to develop business relations further dynamically and actively.
Participants of the meeting underlined the necessity of opening the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Georgia and discussed the importance of full-fledged diplomatic mission in Tbilisi.
The Head of the Georgia-Korea Friendship Group dwelt on the importance of strengthening the inter-parliamentary relations and noted that during the spring session, the Friendship Group, together with the Speaker of the Parliament, will visit Seoul, which will further strengthen the cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting attended by the members of the Friendship Group: Enzela Machavariani, Giorgi Totladze and Ramaz Nikolaishvili, the sides agreed on the contingent cooperation priorities.
Post hoc the meeting, Chung Daesoo examined the Parliament Palace and visited the printing house opened with the financial support of the Republic of Korea.
