Tamar Khulordava participated in the Discussion “10 Years of Eastern Partnership – What Can We Do Better” in Berlin
The Embassy of Georgia to Berlin launched the series of the events “Focus on Georgia” initiated by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.
The Embassy hosted the first Discussion “10 Years of Eastern Partnership – What Can We Do Better” dedicated to the future of EeP.
“Our wills and EU commitment are widely distanced and the future of the Eastern policy will, presumably, result from approximation of these expectations. We want much more but EU appears to be careful. However, notwithstanding the future of EaP, our priorities will remain unchanged. All the issues not implemented within this format will remain as the priority of our bilateral cooperation. The Discussion aims at promotion of Georgia and Georgia-related issues through provision of information on relevant facts and participation in the discussion. We want to trigger support of the society in EU members states towards European future”, - Tamar Khulordava noted.
The Discussion was open by the Ambassador of Georgia to Germany, H.E. Elguja Khokrishvili and the Head of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung South Caucasus Office, Thomas Schrapel.
The Discussion was as well attended by the Director of Georgian Institute of Politics, Korneli Kakachia, Member of the EU Affairs Committee of Bundestag, Matern von Marschall, Head of the Central Staff of Relations with the EU Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia, Eastern Partnership Countries at German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Benedict Zanker and the Manager of the International Policy Program of Körber Foundation, Liana Fix.
