The meeting of Giorgi Mosidze with the Akhalkalaki School children on the occasion of Europe Day

The member of the EU Integration Committee, Giorgi Mosidze visited Akhalkalaki on the occasion of Europe Day and met with the public school children speaking about Georgia and EU.
The meeting was initiated by the Committee and supported by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. G. Mosidze spoke about history of EU and introduced the EU member states and specifics of activity of European structures.
He underlined European choice of Georgia, EU aspiration and importance of NATO membership. He spoke about visa free travel, education and the role of educated generation in development of the state.
“You, the future generation if well educated, will be very successful, which is the pre-condition of success of our country”. MP introduced the information about the competition to be held on the occasion of Europe Day in the Parliament, allowing youth exposing their works on “Europe with my eyes”.
The competition will be held on May 8 and the winners will be awarded.
The meeting is being held with EU and UNDP support.
